What are my Continuing Education (CE) requirements?
Instructors must take 16 hours of CE every two years before their renewal expiration date. If they don’t, their Instructor status will expire, and they will have to retest to get that status back. They will need to complete an Application to Test form and submit to a licensing specialist in order to be set up to take the exam again.
How do I become an Instructor CE provider?
The Board does not have an application for continuing education providers, however, please provide the following documentation for consideration by the Board:
- Any marketing materials
- Letter(s) of recommendation
- Dates, times, and locations of seminars
- Bios on all instructors
- Outline of curriculum
- Curriculum must be about teaching methodologies.
All information must be submitted no later than one week before a scheduled Board meeting. For a list of meeting dates, please visit our website here.
