What is the procedure to register for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exams?

Applicants for the FE exam no longer apply to the Tennessee Board for authorization to sit for the FE exam.  Applicants may apply directly with NCEES at www.ncees.org and then apply to the Tennessee Board for Engineer Intern certification after passing the exam.  For the PE exam, applicants must first submit an application and application fee to the Tennessee Board office. Following approval to sit for the PE exam, applicants must register with NCEES at www.ncees.org to pay the exam fee and schedule the exam.
