How long will it take to process my appraiser application?

Applications are typically processed within five (5) business days or less of receipt in the Real Estate Appraiser Commission office.  Please allow time for processing in through the State of Tennessee mail service and Commerce & Insurance cashier’s office. Both are outside the control of the Real Estate Appraiser Commission pertaining to the timing of approval on any application.  Incomplete applications are not fully processed until all required documents or information are submitted.  Incomplete applications expire after six months from the time of submission, so please ensure you read the application instructions thoroughly and call the administrative office if you have questions.
