No. You may choose to voluntarily surrender your auctioneer license, which would require reapplication (subject to all standard requirements) if you want to reactivate your license at a later date. Or you may choose to retire your license. A licensee shall pay a one-time fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for the retirement of an auctioneer, apprentice auctioneer, or public automobile auctioneer license. An application or activation of a retired license shall be accompanied by an application fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00), the applicable license fee and the Auctioneer Education and Recovery Account fee. Reactivation may also require evidence of completion of Continuing Education.
Can I change my auctioneer license to inactive status?
