Per Rule 0145-05-.03 of the Rules of the Tennessee Athletic Commission, a promoter of an amateur event of unarmed combat shall obtain a permit from the Commission not less than thirty (30) days prior to the date of the event. This can be done at core.tn.gov.
An individual license is not required to fight in an amateur event.
