A Broker has four years to complete the required 120 hours of Continuing Education (CE). If the CE is not completed after four years, the Broker must downgrade or retest/reapply.
A Broker can downgrade to an Affiliate Broker at any time by sending an email to TREC.info@tn.gov. A licensing specialist will then open the downgrade application in CORE and advise the individual on how to proceed.
After downgrading, a licensee would need to retest to become a Broker.
