Renew Your License Online
You can renew your license through your online CORE account.
How to Renew
- 1. Go to https://core.tn.gov.
- 2. Select Sign In at the top right corner.
- 3. Choose the My Licenses or Permits tile.
- 4. Select the license you want to renew. If you do not see your license, navigate back to the main screen and choose "Link License or Permit".
- 5. Complete the renewal application.
Check Your Renewal Status
- 1. Go to https://core.tn.gov.
- 2. Select Sign In at the top right corner.
- 3. Choose the Pending Transactions tile.
- 4. Choose Submitted to view your application.
Common Issues

I don't see the renewal option.
- 1. Confirm you are within your renewal window.
- - Renewal windows vary by license type. To view renewal information for your license or registration, visit the Regulatory Boards webpage and search for the applicable program. You can then find renewal information under the "Licensee & Applicant Resources" section.
- 2. Confirm your license is linked to your account.
- - From the main dashboard of your CORE account, choose "Link License or Permit".
- 1. Confirm you are within your renewal window.

I can't update my contact information within my renewal application.
- 1. Most often, you will need to submit a separate change of address transaction in CORE. From the main screen, select “Update License or Permit,” then select the “Change Address” transaction. If you simply want to update your phone number or email address, contact your program area.
