In the State of Tennessee, a shampooing license is not required as shampooing has been deregulated, allowing anyone to offer this service. Without a Cosmetologist or Master Barber license individuals cannot provide services such as blow drying, curling, or using styling tools, only shampooing.
A licensed Aesthetician can massage the hands, scalp, hands, and feet.
