How many hours of continuing education are required for recertification?

There is a minimum requirement of thirty-six (36) hours of continuing education during the three (3) year certification period in order to renew certification. Proof of completion of thirty-six (36) hours of continuing education within thirty-six (36) months prior to renewal of certification shall be submitted to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
