How to Apply - Qualifying Agent

A Qualifying Agent may only be the Qualifying Agent for one Alarm Contractor Company and must be a full-time employee. 

  • An Alarm Contractor Company can have only one Designated Qualifying Agent but can have more than one Qualifying Agent. The DQA must hold all classifications that the company has. The QA is only required to have the classification in the area they are working in.

 

I. "Initial Qualifying Agent Application" Application (CORE)

There are four classifications available: Fire, Burglar, CCTV, and Monitoring.

II. Supporting Documents

1. Fingerprints, Electronically Scanned

2. Two 1" x 1" color passport-style photos

3.  If a criminal history exists, applicants must disclose all arrests/charges and provide certified court documents showing the final disposition of all charges.

4. Level 1 Trainingcompleted with the company within one year of the hire date.

5. Proof of Qualifying Education 

6. Qualifying Agent Exam (PSI) 

III. Fee, $200
