How do I apply for a Principal Auctioneer license by reciprocity?

Tennessee reciprocates with the following states: Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kentucky (KY), Louisiana (LA), Massachusetts (MA), Mississippi (MS), New Hampshire (NH), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), Pennsylvania (PA), South Carolina (SC), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), West Virginia (WV), and Wisconsin (WI). 

If the Auctioneer is licensed in a reciprocal state they may apply online at core.tn.gov.  The following requirements must be met by the applicant:

1. "Initial Out-of-State Principal Auctioneer" Application (CORE)

2. Supporting Documents 

i. Consent for Service of Jurisdiction

ii. Evidence of an Escrow Account (copy of bank statement, voided check or deposit slip)

iii. Copy of Driver's License

iv. Letter of Good Standing from Reciprocal State 

We will accept Letters Of Good Standing that are dated within 30 days of the date the reciprocal state issued the letter. 

3. Fee, $275
