If I am licensed in another state am I exempt from taking the test for the limited license electrician (LLE) license?

No.  Trade exam waivers are only for the contractor exam.  The LLE license is specific to Tennessee.  The exam must be taken at a PSI location unless you have previously held the license and took the test with the prior vendor.
