Who can purchase an electrical permit?

Electrical contractors, Well Drillers (for inspections on wells and water systems only), HVAC installers with Electrical or Mechanical contractor’s licenses, and homeowners who are performing work on his or her own residence in which they either reside or plan to. Homeowners permits include all the inspections that are necessary to complete the project and are limited to one project a year.
