Retirement

Last Updated -

A real estate firm can retire their license. The license has to be active and in good standing to place into retirement. The real estate firm has to submit a completed and signed old TREC 2 Form (attached below) with a payment of $25.00.

This is currently still a paper process. The form has to be mailed or brought in person to our office at:

Attn: TN Real Estate Commission
500 James Robertson Parkway
Nashville, TN 37243

Please include a check or money order for $25.00 and include the name of the firm and the firm license number.

When a firm license is in retired status, the firm will still need to renew the license every 2 years (within 90 days) of the license expiration date and pay the renewal fee to avoid the license from going into a full expiration status.
