If applying for a new license with the Tennessee Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers/Burial Services, follow the steps below to get started. 

Step 1: Review Licensing Requirements

Visit the Board's website to find your specific license type and its requirements. 

Step 2: Submit Your Application Online

Applications are submitted through CORE, our online licensing system. In CORE, you can: 

  • - Create an Account
    - Start a New Application
    - Upload Required Documents
    - Track Your Application Status

CORE is the primary way to apply for and manage licenses.
